As the minute hand makes another evolution,
as the cries of agony linger in the air.
Blood seeping through the cracks of the Earth;
corpses scattered everywhere,in abundance;
the abominable stench of decay.
They say that there's always a winner.
But bloodshed made that seem unclear.
We all blame politics.
They were the ones who set the rifles going,
the tanks firing.
Bullets piercing the lungs of the innocent,
the bleeding on the outside,
as well as on the inside...
They were the ones who made people afraid.
Afraid of another new day,
to awake in distraught,only to find another dead.
They were the ones who killed thousands.
They were the ones who wanted all the glory.
For themselves.
